My other main family names are Crow, Harwood, Shepherd, Stevens and Martin.
The Harwood family is first found in Ickenham in Middlesex around the mid 1700s. From these first traces the family has been well researched by a number of people. Full details are contained on the main tree but any information regarding the origins of the family prior to those found on the tree would be welcome.
The Crow family appears in Ealing towards the end of the 1700s. A fellow researcher has traced the family back a further generation and John Crow circa 1715/20 was probably connected to the military as can be seen by the different locations that his children were born. Unfortunately at this time it is not possible to determine his birthplace. The tree successfully plots forward into the early 1900s and the family can be seen to have increased successfully.
Shepherd, Stevens and Martin are all centred around the Northolt area but determining the previous generations has been difficult. Any suggestions or information on these families would be welcome.
