Christian family

This line starts with Rebecca Christian my 4th Gt Grandmother born in Hoath 1790 and extending back easily to John Christian my 8th Gt Grandfather. I did at one point, wonder whether I would discover links to the mutiny on the Bounty but that is another family entirely. A family of Yeomen and farmers but through the female lines some interesting links and at times families with considerable land holdings.

Stephen Christian married Elizabeth Holt and whilst watching 'Who Do You Think You Are' I was amused to discover that the comedienne Sarah Millican  is my 8th cousin. For those who know my sense of humour it is good to see it running through the family.

Another name that enters my tree on this branch is that of Dadd, they had considerable property holdings in the late 1600's and were very wealthy. I would love to discover if my old friend David is also linked to this line of Dadd's
